ABOUT TIM CRUZ

The talented singer and songwriter Timothy Cruz was born on 01/02/79 in New York City. Before he started his professionell musical career Tim also made some experiences in modelling. After that he started his career as a singer and songwriter by forming a pop group called "React" together with his friend Daniel Metreyeon when Tim was 22 years old. They had a top ten hit in the dance charts with "Let's go all the way". After that he met two other singers and they formed the band "B3". They signed a deal with Fearless Management and a record deal with BMG. First they started with cover songs of the Bee Gees and they had a big success with their first two singles which entered the top 20 of the german sales charts. their third single, also a Bee Gees cover, "I.O.I.O" was the summer hit of 2002 and it hits the european market. With this single they stayed in the top 10 charts for more than 12 weeks. After that success they decided to do their own music instead of going on with the cover songs. They realeased their second album in march 2003, this time with their original music and including a few songs written by themselves. At the same time they did a big and succesful tour all over Germany. All singles taken from this album which is called "N.Y.B3" went straight into the Top 10 charts position. Because of the success of "NYB3" the band also released a special edition of this album with some additional songs and special features. Their fourth and last album called "Living for the weekend" was released in september 2004. The band decided to split after that because they all wanted to do their own musical stuff. So they did their last show together in december 2004 and go their own ways from that time on. Tim is currently working on his solo debut and he is also working on productions for other artits. So we should all be exciting for what we can expect next from the amazing singer and should check out for some news. Definitely this was not the last time we heard about him ;)
